Feeling Fresh with Musq

I think this idea is particularly suitable for those who experience allergic reactions to perfume and therefore can’t wear it directly on their skin. Personally I prefer to not wear perfume on my skin anyway due to the harmful chemicals in them, so this product is very appealing. Joyce and Jade

'Joyce and Jade' One of my favourite labels in Sydney which I actually came across when strolling down the street! They are located in the emerging designer market in Sydney Westfield. As soon as I saw their designs I fell in love straight away! They have such a good eye for what works and create unique pieces that I have never seen anywhere else - one of the main reasons their label stood out to me straight away. It’s just the beginning for these talented girls and am excited to share with you some of my favourite pieces from them. Sweet Tooth Craving!

One thing I am really passionate about is healthy eating and fuelling your body with nourishing food. I apply this passion not only to snacks and meals, but also treats when you get those inevitable sweet cravings.

This post I’ll be sharing with you a few of my favourite go-to recipes when I have my sweet tooth craving.  My number one inspiration is my younger sister, Emma Paterson, who shares all her own healthy recipes on her Instagram account: Emmajayepaterson.  She is so inspiring and such motivation with all her positive tips on how to keep healthy and fit. 

All of the recipes are very simple and easy, so if you’re not a genius in the kitchen like me, you will love them too :) 

Cacao Smoothie Bowl

 This one is my absolute favourite! 

I usually have this one for breakfast in a bowl

- Coconut water (I use H2COCO)

- 1 Frozen Banana 

- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Vegan SunWarrior Vanilla protein powder)

- 1 Tablespoon of Peanut Butter (I use Almond Butter)

- 1 teaspoon Loving earths Cacao powder or Cacao nibs

- Ice

Blend!

Protein Bliss Balls

A yummy snack for when you’re on the go! 

- 1 cup Oats (I use ground flaxseed meal)

- 1 1/2 scoop of protein (I use Vegan SunWarrior Vanilla)

- 2 Tablespoon Cacao powder

- 1/4 cup Peanut butter/ or your favourite nut butter (my favourite is Almond Butter)

- 3 Tablespoons of honey

- 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil

- 1/5 cup of almond milk 

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl then roll them into balls in Shredded Coconut 

Acai Bowl 

               You can now make the popular Acai beach bowls in your own home :) 

- 2 Frozen Acai smoothie sachets

- Coconut water ( H2COCO my favourite)

- 1/2 banana

- 2 Strawberries

BLEND!

Top off with gluten free muesli, banana, strawberries and shredded coconut.

                                                 Clean Coconut Treats 

Simple ingredients, and they taste amazing!

Preheat oven to 160 - 180 degrees

Base:

In a bowl mix up

- 3 egg whites

- 1/3 cup of organic honey

- Add 3 cups of desiccated coconut 

Roll into balls GENTLY and place them on baking paper/tin then slightly flatten them (be careful they don't crumble) 

Cook until golden brown (Approx. 10 mins)

Take them out and let them cool. If you touch them while hot they will crumble.

Cacao moose:

- 1 Avocado

- 2 heaped tablespoons of Cacao powder

- 2 heaped tablespoons of organic honey

- Dash of vanilla essence 

Whisk with the beater until in turns glossy!

Gently spread the moose of the macaroon base

Add whatever toppings you like! My favourites are (Goji Berries, coco nibs, shredded coconut, almonds)

The Wedding of the Year!

Co-owner of Australian label Sabo Skirt, Yiota, is getting married! I was so looking forward to the day as I knew it would be a huge Greek celebration!

So in that case, it was time to get really dressed up and find the perfect outfit! I hadn't dressed in formal attire since my year 12 graduation so I was really excited to get fancy. I have been following the Sydney designer brand Aje on Instagram for quite some time and have just fallen in love with so many of their amazing dresses. This wedding was the perfect occasion to wear one of their beautifully detailed, statement dresses.

Below are a few of my fav dresses I tried on at the fitting. How I chose just one in the end is still beyond me!

This last one is the dress I decided I just had to have! From the moment I saw it I fell in love. Absolutely incredible is all I can say. Handmade sequin detailing with a gorgeous swirl design in the fabric. Beautifully made and with quality materials.

Now for the wedding day! The magnificent church, beautiful bridesmaids, adorable flower girl, incredible reception, and of course, the stunning bride, was the perfect combination to make this occasion memorable and flawless! One way to describe it would be jaw-dropping.

The Gorgeous Bridesmaids! How incredible do they all look together? The sheer overlay fabric and the head pieces could not be more perfectly matched!

Her dress!!!! What can I say? I am speechless. The most beautiful dress I have ever seen. The detailing was so intricate and delicate. She just looked so unbelievably beautiful!

The two talented designers of the fashion empire, Sabo Skirt! These girls are too amazing for words and two of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. Perfectly suited business partners, and even better suited friends and now sisters!

The reception, the food, the speeches and the dancing were a fantastic combination to create a spectacular Greek wedding!
